Google is known for it’s robust search engine results which have powered it’s way to the number one search engine in the world. What’s even more interesting is the number of sites and services that comprise the Google family

Google is so much more than a search engine……  So much of the assets are in cloud that it makes it virtually accessible anywhere with a network connection.  That has expanded and Google now interacts with desktops, tablets and laptops with it’s business suite of products including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google+, Hangouts, Blogger, Google Wallet, Google Translate, Gmail, Maps, Chrome Browser, Streaming TV Devices, Hands Free Assistant, Wifi, smart phones and the list goes on and on.   Most folks don’t realize that Youtube is a Google Asset or the reaching scope of it’s map and business listings for the local business community.  If you haven’t looked lately, you should check out the applications that are currently available to small business and consumers.  It could make a tremendous difference in your productivity and general ability to live life to the fullest!

Did you know that Google now has a parent company?

Google Search Engine and many other companies are now under the Umbrella of “Alphabet”

This was news to me as it happened back in 2015….  okay, I am a little out of the tech loop but boy did I miss this one!  I have followed Google since it’s early beginning’s as a beginning search platform in a Northern California University….  I
 have watched it grow into the Behemoth of the online community and gobble up more new start-ups possibly more than Microsoft.    How did I miss that one….  Furthermore, I do watch the news…..  Apparently not adequate news coverage to have missed this over two years ago.

I am curious as to how many of the general public are aware of the restructuring, outside of it’s stockholders of course, and if it has been a beneficial structure adjustment for the massive online empire?
